What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and knowledgeable SENCO to join our SLT in leading this provision in our thriving and successful school for January 2026.
We require our SENCO:
• to hold exceptional knowledge of SEND including areas such as Dyslexia, ASD, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties
• knowledge of specific assessments to identify needs
• able to work effectively with teachers to meet the needs of our high level and complex learners
• Support LSA staff and train staff to support children in these areas.
• Being approachable, supportive and understand to the needs of parents and carers
• Knowledge of effective SEN procedures to support the needs of pupils and staff
• Holds a National Award for SENCOs or an NPQ SENCOs
