Role

Role & Responsibilities

You will be working as part of a dedicated team of professionals, providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs. You'll be directly involved in creating engaging learning experiences, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. You will collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Main tasks include
  • Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
  • Providing individual and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Developing and implementing engaging learning resources.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with other support staff to ensure effective teamwork.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) in a UK setting.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with a range of SEN needs is desirable.
  • Passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential.
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience working with young people aged 6-18 is preferred.
  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
