Student Records Officer
Hours: 20 hours per week (over 4 days), 52 weeks per yearSalary: £13,285 Actual / £24,577 FTENewbury College is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Student Records Officer to support the effective management of student data across the institution. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy of records used for funding, reporting, and student support.
Working within the Management Information Systems (MIS) team, you’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance with external regulations.If you have a strong eye for detail, enjoy working with data systems, and thrive in a busy environment where precision matters, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update student records across internal databases and external reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with data protection and funding requirements
• Support enrolment, registration, and examination processes
• Liaise with curriculum teams and external agencies to ensure accurate data reporting
• Provide timely and professional responses to queries from staff and studentsWhat We’re Looking For:
• Experience working in an administrative or data-focused role (education sector experience is a plus)
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and database systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
