Ysgol Friars are seeking to appoint an Examinations Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated support team in an extremely successful school. We are seeking to appoint a keen, enthusiastic, conscientious and proactive individual as an Examinations Officer to our Examinations Team. Your responsibilities will include examination registrations/entries with variety of awarding bodies as well as providing administrative support within the Exams Team. It is also essential that you have good organisational skills; in particular, you will be effective in planning and prioritising a heavy workload and meeting conflicting deadlines. The successful candidate will have careful attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of people that includes awarding bodies, students, parents/guardians and staff.
This role would suit an experienced exams officer, or someone with transferable skills willing to up-skill. This role is line managed by a member of the senior leadership team and we would be more than happy to discuss the role in advance of an application.
Please note that Ysgol Friars is on a large site with the examination venues dispersed across the site. The successful candidate will need to visit all the examination venues, in some cases, several times per day.
