Working hours/pattern: 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3.20, breaks during the working day will be unpaid.Pay scale: Surrey Pay Grade 3.3 - 38.6 weeks of the year, term time + 3 inset days. FTE £24,330 - £17,264 pro rata salary.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant candidate to support teaching and learning at The Federated Schools of Wood Street Infant School & Worplesdon Primary School. This role is working with a child at Worplesdon Primary School with additional needs. We are seeking to appoint a pro-active, caring, committed and enthusiastic person to work at our school. The role will involve providing support to a pupil with personal care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Working with a class teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning.
Working with a child 1:1 to support their needs including personal care.The role includes supervising the children at lunchtime in either the lunch hall or playground.
Accompanying groups on trips.
Supporting assessment and evidencing learning.
Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources.
Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners.
Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability.
