We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist or Nurse (with Pulmonary rehab experience) to lead the Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) service for Maternity lead cover . This will be for either a secondment or fixed term for 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering Pulmonary rehab groups across Oxfordshire in a variety of settings. The post holder will be in a key position to drive and deliver service improvement, such as accreditation and programme expansion. As a PR lead you will also work closely with the other band 7 clinical lead within the respiratory service to provide leadership and operational support.
Main duties of the job- To Lead the countywide development and delivery of care for those suffering with chronic respiratory disease through Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes.
- To work across primary and secondary care to reduce the need for acute service intervention – reducing admissions, supporting early discharges, supporting colleagues and empowering patients to manage their condition with the ultimate aim of improving quality of care, through Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) and by case management of complex patients.
- To provide specialist Physiotherapy assessment of respiratory patients, To provide physiotherapy advice to other colleagues to ensure that patients are provided with a seamless service and considered as a whole.
- To work alongside the management team for the respiratory service as an expert resource.
