Purpose of the Role
The PrecisionFacilities Supervisor leads a dedicated team to deliver high-standard deepcleaning services across campus buildings. This role complements routinehousekeeping operations and focuses on maintaining a consistently clean,hygienic, and well-presented environment. Key to the role is exceptionalattention to detail, efficiency, and minimal disruption to building users.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of Precision Facilities Operatives to deliver scheduled deep cleaning services.
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards across all designated areas, including floors, washrooms, corridors, stairwells, lifts, and sports facilities.
- Manage daily operations, prioritising tasks and adapting to changes to maintain service quality.
- Monitor and enforce health & safety procedures and correct use of equipment and chemicals.
- Support training and continuous development within the team to uphold service standards.
- Apply HR procedures effectively to manage attendance, conduct, and performance within the team.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in facilities management or supervisory cleaning roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, standards, and best practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and perform under pressure.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
