We are seeking adaptable and confident General Cover Teachers to provide high-quality classroom supervision across a range of subjects and year groups. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety and want flexible work to fit their schedule. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as General Cover Teacher:
Deliver pre-planned lessons in different subjects, ensuring continuity of learning when class teachers are absent.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused learning environment.
Provide feedback on pupil progress and lesson outcomes to the relevant department.
Adapt to different school settings and year groups quickly and effectively.
Ideal General Cover Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills as General Cover Teacher.
Ability to teach a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (specialist subject desirable but not essential).
Valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
