Chilled Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week 5 days over 7 on a rotating shift pattern
Pay: £14.12 - £15.42 per hour (depending on experience)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Chilled Warehouse Team Leader to join our busy team in Tewkesbury. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a large team, and ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity in our chilled warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
. Lead, guide, and support a large team handling the receipt, picking, and return of dairy and related products
. Oversee the safe and efficient movement of stock, ensuring all codes match tickets
. Ensure the chilled warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards
. Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
. Monitor team performance, provide coaching where needed, and encourage a high-performance culture
. Provide cover for the Chilled Warehouse Supervisor during absences and holidays
. Promote and adhere to company Health & Safety policies
. Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices
. Handle any other reasonable duties as requested by senior management
. Foster an open, positive team culture through clear communication and support

. Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices
. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on solutions
. Confident in handling interpersonal situations and resolving conflicts
Desirable Skills & Experience:
. Valid FLT and/or PPT Licence
. Proven experience as a Team Leader in a fast-paced warehouse environment
. Background in dairy or food production sector
. Strong PC and administrative skills
. Confident decision-maker with the ability to lead under pressure
