As our Supported Living Worker, you’ll work in our Good registered CQC service, at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex needs, helping them to develop their skills to live more independently in the community.

Typical day as our Supported Living Worker
• Help customers with daily living tasks to build independence and achieve their goals.
• Support customers in activities like cooking, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining tenancies as well as taking part in hobbies and interests or attend college or work
• Assist with personal care, medication, appointments, hobbies, college, or work.
• Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
• Spend quality time with customers; chats, cuppas, and collaborative support with colleagues.

You have
• A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this
• Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail
• Experience of caring for others, you may have worked in care before or have experience of caring for others such as family members or children
• Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach
• A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs, recognising every customer is different
• To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!

Job details
• Occasionally our customers' needs mean your start and finish times may change. Where we ask you to be flexible, we will always try to reciprocate
• You will work on a rota basis 37.5 hours per week over 7 days
• Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
