Job Opportunity: Band 3 Contracts Administrator (Temporary, Full-Time)
Location: Dundonald
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours/week)
Rate of Pay: £12.31 per hour

About the Role:
Our Public Sector Client is currently seeking a Band 3 Contracts Administrator to join the Contracts, Social Care Procurement and Commissioning Department. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support to Managers and Contracts Compliance Officers, ensuring the smooth operation of departmental functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including minute/action note taking, venue organisation, and documentation follow-up
  • Follow up on actions from contract review meetings
  • General administrative/secretarial duties including word processing, spreadsheets, database use, photocopying, and filing
  • Maintain manual and electronic diaries/schedules and arrange appointments
  • Establish and manage filing systems
  • Maintain accurate departmental records (contracts, minutes, provider insurance)
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail
  • Manage telephone queries and act as a reference point for internal/external enquiries

Essential Criteria:

  • Education:
    • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language and Maths or equivalent/higher qualification OR
    • 3 year's Administrative / Clerical Experience
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year's administrative/clerical experience at Band 3 level
  • Skills:
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
