Crynodeb

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stainless Steel Polisher to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for polishing thin gauge stainless steel, which has been fabricated and welded in-house, to a high specification.

The ability to work with precision and a genuine passion for creating top-tier products is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Polishing Stainless Steel: Use both static and flexi polishing machines to polish 318 stainless steel to a high-quality finish.


  • Pre-Polishing & Surface Preparation: Pre-polish metal parts to remove any imperfections and prepare surfaces for final finishing.


  • Grinding & Finishing Welds: Smooth and grind welds after the welding process to ensure a seamless surface, followed by polishing the joints.


  • Achieving High Gloss Finish: Buff and polish parts to achieve a flawless high gloss finish, ensuring the product meets the company's standards.


  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure every piece is finished to the highest standard.


  • Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the required specifications and quality standards before final sign-off.


  • Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.


    Skills and Experience Required:
    • Proven experience in polishing stainless steel, ideally with thin gauge materials.


    • Ability to use static and flexi polishing machines effectively.


    • Experience in grinding and polishing welded joints.


    • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing first-class products.


    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    • Good understanding of health and safety practices within a workshop environment.


      Additional Information:
      • This is a full-time, temp to perm role based in the NR29 area.


      • The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.


        • Opportunities to work overtime on a Saturday available
