Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dispatch and Distribution Manager to oversee our dispatch and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of logistics and distribution.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily dispatch operations, ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers.
Monitor performance, prepare reports, and implement process improvements.
Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain effective communication with team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Train and mentor staff on best practices in dispatch management and logistics operations.
Uphold excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management experience in logistics or distribution.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of warehouse and transport operations.
Ability to drive efficiency and improve operational processes.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
