Are you passionate about empowering others to reach their full potential?
Forever Savvy is looking for a dedicated Support Worker/Job Coach to join our friendly team across our vibrant community Café, Horse Savvy, and Creative Savvy. While you’ll occasionally support at our other centres, this role will focus mainly on the Café project—a lively, customer-facing hub where adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities gain valuable skills in food preparation, service, and teamwork.
At the Café, you’ll support clients as they welcome customers, prepare drinks and meals, serve at the counter, and work as a team to keep things running smoothly. You’ll also help them develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills that will serve them beyond the workplace.
Alongside the Café, you may also have opportunities to support at:
• Creative Savvy: where clients grow produce and craft handmade wooden items from recycled pallets.
• Horse Savvy: where clients care for animals such as horses, guinea pigs, and chickens in an outdoor equestrian setting.
What You’ll Do:
• Support and inspire individuals with learning disabilities in café service, food preparation, teamwork, and occasionally gardening, woodworking, or animal care
• Help clients build confidence, independence, and workplace skills
• Be a positive role model in a friendly, supportive environment
• Work both in a busy café setting and outdoors year-round
• Promote teamwork, life skills, and personal development
What We’re Looking For:
• A passion for making a difference
• Comfortable in a hospitality and café environment, with flexibility to support outdoors when needed
• Experience or interest in customer service, catering, gardening, woodworking, or animal care
• A friendly, motivating presence with a can-do attitude
• Own transport with business insurance (essential)
No prior experience in social care required—just a desire to help others thrive! Full training and development provided.
