We are seeking to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition and with an additional responsibility to be agreed upon appointment. The Birches School is a good school which caters for primary aged children with a range of special educational needs. This is an opportunity to become part of a positive and innovative team, that aims to provide high quality support for our children and their families.

We are looking for:

  • 2 enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to work alongside a class teacher
  • To work as part of a class team
  • Teaching assistants to support the learning of a small class group.
  • Teaching Assistants with the knowledge and understanding of learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Condition and learning methodologies associated with best practice would be an advantage.
  • Positive, flexible, team players who want to make a difference.
