Queen Elizabeth High School is part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) which includes three local Primary schools.
Located in the town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, we are an 11-16 academy having converted in 2011. Set amidst spectacular scenery with stunning views of the Malvern Hills and even the Black Mountains on a clear day, the town of Bromyard is only 20 minutes from Hereford and 25 minutes from Worcester. Queen Elizabeth High School wish to appoint a hardworking, reliable and committed Minibus Driver / Assistant Caretaker.
As Minibus Driver you will be responsible for the safe transportation of pupils to and from school using the minibus provided. You will carry out regular checks on the vehicles to comply with requirements of DVLA. Under the direction of the Trust Estates Manager and Caretaker as Assistant Caretaker you will ensure the school is maintained to a high standard and in a timely and efficient manner.
It is expected the successful applicant will have: • A calm bus authoritative manner with children • Clean Driving Licence • The ability to relate well to pupils, parents and staff in schools • A keen awareness of the surroundings in order to prevent accidents or report incidents. • An understanding and perception of the need for a high standard of cleanliness in schools. • Possess a thorough approach to cleaning and the storage of cleaning materials • The ability to work effectively with other cleaning staff and managers. • The ability to be able to work independently • A good time keeper. • A commitment to providing a clean and pleasant environment for pupils and staff. • To work in support of the ethos of the school. • Previous experience of cleaning What we offer: Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) recognises its employees as the most important asset and critical to its success.
