Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students aged 11-16, that delivers strong student outcomes through high quality teaching and outstanding pastoral care. The school is proud of its inclusive credentials and, in an area that has retained selection, subscribe instinctively to the comprehensive ideal. We are a popular and over-subscribed single academy trust with 1350 students on roll.We require an Examinations Officer. This role is a vital one within the school. You will ensure our students have the best possible experience when it comes to sitting internal assessments and public exams. You will lead a team to ensure all exams and assessments are run efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for a positive, organised, flexible and professional individual for this role, who has previous experience in an exams role within education. You will have a good general education with a working knowledge of IT and data systems. You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise, remain calm under pressure, be proactive, resourceful, flexible and adaptable.

This a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus inset plus 3 weeks) (0.9241 FTE). Starting salary is dependent on experience. Interviews will be held on 30 September.
