To support theBusiness Unit Accountant / Directorate Accountant in providing a high-quality financial management accounting service To assist in the supervision the Accountancy Assistant and undertake specific projects as defined by the Business Unit Accountant / Directorate Accountant. To organise, co-ordinate, input and manipulate data within the computerised accounting system. To produce monthly financial management budget reports for managers within strict financial timescales, together with supporting information, and analyse and report on reasons for expenditure varying from budget. To analyse complex financial trends and compile forecasts of income and expenditure. To investigate queries and provide advice, support and training to Directorate Managers.
