We are recruiting a Learning Disabilities Supported Living Service Manager for a specialist service in Slough, Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a well-established supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
As the Learning Disabilities Supported Living Service Manager, you will oversee staff, service users, and daily operations to ensure safe, person-centred care. You will drive CQC compliance, deliver high-quality support, and maintain excellent working relationships with commissioners and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities of the Learning Disabilities Service Manager
• Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold CQC standards.
• Manage safeguarding, risk, staffing, and service delivery.
• Embed Positive Behaviour Support and coach staff to meet individual needs.
• Oversee budgets, audits, and performance reports.
Learning Disabilities Supported Living Service Manager Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Learning Disabilities Supported Living Service Manager who has a strong background in learning disabilities, autism, and complex care. You will be calm, resilient, and passionate about improving lives.
The successful candidate will be:
• Experienced as a Learning Disabilities Supported Living Manager / Residential Home Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Confident in managing CQC-regulated services for people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
• Skilled in safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and incident management.
• Calm, resilient, and methodical with strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Committed to continuous improvement and embedding Positive Behaviour Support.
Essential Experience
• Proven track record as a Learning Disabilities Supported Living Manager or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of CQC compliance, safeguarding, and risk management.
• Ability to lead staff teams, deliver training, and manage supervision.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex health needs.
