Crynodeb
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 1 / C+E Drivers for various clients in and around the Basingstoke area.
This is part time, but consistent work. Will consist of at least two to three days a week.
Rate of Pay:
- £18.00 per hour (minimum of 8.5 hours, Monday to Friday)
- 27.00 per hour after 8.5 per day
- Hours of work from 0600-Finish
- ADHOC Work
Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver:
- Handballing involved
- Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.)
- Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
- Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
- Flexibility as route / drops may vary.
Requirements of the Class 1 Driver:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Valid CPC Tacho and Digi card
- Previous experience desired but not essential
