We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Community Paediatric team in Bury.
This is an exciting time to join our service as you will be part of the team developing our out-patient service. We are located at the Bury Living Well Centre alongside other multidisciplinary colleagues. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a highly motivated, friendly, integrated therapy team.
We are looking for a pro-active band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapist who will develop our short term pathway, developing guidelines and ensuring evidence based practise using national standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in our well equipped therapy centre close to Bury Town centre.
• To act as a specialist physiotherapist and a source of expertise on the physiotherapy management of children with Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions to parents/carers, other health care professionals, GPs and consultants.
• To provide the diagnosis, management and treatment of children presenting with complex MSK, orthopaedic and developmental conditions.
• To take a lead role in the delivery of the Bury Community Paediatric MSK Physiotherapy Service
• To deputise for the band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapy Team Leader in their absence
• To support the development of local standard operating procedures relevant to the service
• To support the training of Physiotherapy learners, band 3,4,5 and 6 therapists
• To manage the waiting list and triage process.
