I’m a father of a 9 years old girl with Arthrogryposis. My daughter’s mind is perfectly healthy, her disabilities restrict movement in her arms and leg although with the correct exercise’s can gain more movement .
I’m looking for personal assistant in her exercise’s and help with her physio therapy and personal and social tasks.
The closing date for completed applications is 30/9/25
I’m open to discussing changing these time’s for the ideal candidate and can be flexible. We have been working with these hours with the current Pa.
5 hours per week:
Monday: 3.30-5pm
Wednesday: 3.30-5pm
Friday: 1pm-3pm
I’m able to pick up and drop off at Bathgate train-station or local bus stop for candidates that can’t drive
Once a month (last Friday of Month) 4 hours taking my daughter to shopping centre having lunch and potentially Cinema . Transport will be provided there and back
Rate of pay £13.83
Description of job
Helping with exercises and physiotherapy performing the 7 physio routine exercises.
Training will be provided by St John’s Physiotherapist
Person specification
I’m looking for someone who has experience of working with children and a little knowledge of wellbeing and fitness
An ideal post-holder would be someone who is compassionate, friendly, calm and patient with a good sense of humour. Driver – desirable but not essential. Qualifications not essential. Would be required to have a PVG disclosure obtained, I will cover the cost of this .
This is a good opportunity for someone looking for part time work a student or someone that’s interested in helping kids with disabilities
