Band 3 Mental Health Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor (Permanent)

Are you an enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated individual who is eager to make a real difference in mental health care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic Adult Occupational Therapy Team.
This post is based at the Springview Mental Health Unit, Clatterbridge Hospital and you will work across multiple wards which may include.:
• Three acute adult mental health assessment wards
• A ward for people with dementia
• A Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
What you’ll do:
You will need to show an awareness of Occupational Therapy and mental health conditions and be able to manage risk.
You’ll work as part of the Occupational Therapy team to plan and facilitate a varied programme of therapeutic activities, working in small groups or individually with service users. Through your interactions with service users, you will consider their presentation and record clinical documentation accordingly.
You’ll work with the entire Occupational Therapy team (which includes experienced Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapy Technical Instructors) and our integrated multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure a seamless and supportive care experience for every individual.
