WorkwithSchools are looking to recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager for a setting based in York.
This is a full time role, to start immediately. Shifts will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week) all year round.
A competitive rate of pay is on offer as well as a new starter bonus of £500 to be paid after a successful probationary period.
You will be required to;
Work under the direction of the Manager and deputise for them as and when required
Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
Support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the Manager in the organisation of a high-quality establishment
Provide high standards of care and early learning. This includes providing a safe, caring environment to enable the personal, emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities
Support the team in order to provide an enabling environment, in which all individual children can play, learn and develop
Direct and support staff, as agreed by the Manager.
