Crynodeb
The main responsibility is to provide day-to-day care for cardiology inpatients, directly supervised by ward registrars and the consultant of the week. The post-holders will be included in a full shift rota which includes weekday shifts, weekend shifts, and night shifts supported by on-site registrars. The rota is compliant with the European Working Time Directive. The posts would be suitable for medical trainees who have completed Foundation (or equivalent) competencies who wish to gain further experience in Cardiology. The year-long post would be ideal for a trainee who has Core Medical (or equivalent) competencies who intends to complete Alternative Certification for Stage I General Internal Medicine training or ST4 training for Cardiology.
