ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY The Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System will comprise the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which is the statutory body for the NHS, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which is a committee of the ICB, and brings together key health, care, community, and voluntary sector organisations across the area. The ICS has a bold ambition to deliver improved outcomes for our 1.2m population through our four Alliances, and we are placing clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realizing this ambition. The Specialist Administrator will be integral to supporting the delivery of both the All Age Continuing Care programme and the UEC and System Flow Medium Term Plan programme, to improve outcomes by promoting adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and standards, and enabling services to operate in a safe and effective way. The post holder will provide a highly effective and competent level of administrative support to the Director of Operations AACC (SRO for UEC and System Flow). In addition, the post holder will support the Head of AACC, AACC SLT and AACC PMO Manager to assist and run functions within AACC by providing administrative programme / project management support across a range of activities. COMPETENCY BASED KEY DELIVERABLES To be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administrative support to the Director of Operations for AACC/SRO for UEC and System Flow, to support effectively delivery of both programmes Contribute to the delivery of AACC and UEC and System Flow programmes through supporting key actions and milestones to be delivered, and raising any issues associated with the delivery of plans and workstreams Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and nurture a collaborative approach to all aspects of work Attend and participate in any delegated meetings Undertake defined projects and coordination of work as required Contribute to ensuring governance and quality improvement remains integral to processes Be responsible for collecting data, defining metrics, and measuring quality results Working knowledge of financial processes Responsible for decisions made during the course of their duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate
