JOB TITLE: LECTURER - PSYCHOLOGY AND RESEARCH METHODS (ACCESS TO DEGREE)LOCATION: KING'S LYNNHOURS: 18.5 PER WEEK SALARY: £15,265 - £19,250 PER ANNUM (£30,529 - £38,500 FTE)Due to internal progression we have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Psychology team on a part-time basis, working 18.5 hours over three days per week from January 2026. You will teach a range of aspects of our psychology courses, from access to degree level.As well as core psychology subjects, you’ll also work with our learners to build their research skills through dissertation workshops and supervision.This is a rare opportunity to join our highly skilled and supportive team.It is essential that you hold a degree in a relevant subject areas, however a relevant masters degree is a distinct advantage. If you don’t hold a teaching qualification currently you must be willing and able to undertake one with our support.We pride ourselves on our approach to the work life balance of our team and actively support job share and flexible working opportunities. Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving social sciences team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength delivering a wide range of programmes including A-level, Access to Higher Education and BA Psychosocial studies degree. .
