Are you a caring, patient, and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. For the right person, this role has the potential to become permanent.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, ensuring they are fully supported to reach their potential. You will work closely with children who have a variety of needs, which may include:
- Learning difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Speech, language, and communication needs
- Sensory impairments
- Behavioural or emotional challenges
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support, adapting resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Assisting in the delivery and monitoring of EHCP targets.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Providing personal care where required.
