Are you an organised, detail-driven individual with a passion for supply chain and materials management? We’re looking for a Materials Controller to join our dynamic Procurement function on a 3–6-month fixed term contract

As a Materials Controller, you'll be responsible for maintaining the delicate balance between supply and demand to ensure product availability, support customer satisfaction, and drive efficiencies throughout our supply chain. This is a vital, front-line role working closely with both vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


Maintain high material availability by effectively managing supply vs demand.
Assess and apply appropriate safety stock levels to protect against demand variability.
Forecast future demand to support new product ranges and promotional activity.
Manage replenishment and stock levels in line with agreed stock budgets.
Build and maintain strong, performance-focused relationships with suppliers.
Generate reports and analyse data to support departmental KPIs.
Maintain accurate data and provide administrative support.
Support product range selection and renewal processes with suppliers and internal teams.
Communicate and manage stock shortages via the customer service team.


What We’re Looking For:


Proven ability to work within defined stock budgets while maintaining service levels.
A team player with strong self-motivation and attention to detail.
Proficient in SAP or equivalent ERP system.
Solid understanding of MRP principles and processes.
Confident communicator with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Advanced Excel skills, including use of formulas and macros.
