We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to start as soon as possible after all checks have been carried out. You will need to be an enthusiastic and committed person, with a calm and caring manner who enjoys working with children. We value every child at our school and our aim is to ensure a happy lunchtime for all.
Duties will involve setting out/putting away tables and chairs and supervising the children in the dinner hall, the playground, and on the field, promoting positive play, and listening to children read at the end of lunchtime. You will be required to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, and promote positive behaviour and independence
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to the role
- Has experience working with children
- Has a kind and consistent approach when supporting children to do their best
- Uses positive behaviour strategies and will follow our behaviour policy
- Hardworking and able to work with initiative
