The Waste Depot Manager will be responsible for coordinating with local authorities, vendors, and community stakeholders to promote efficient waste disposal and recycling initiatives. Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the waste management facility to ensure efficient processing of waste materials.
Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and policies.
Develop and implement waste management strategies to enhance recycling and reduce landfill waste.
Supervise and train staff, ensuring a high level of performance and safety compliance.
Maintain accurate records of waste processing activities and generate reports for management.
Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and community stakeholders to foster collaborative waste management practices.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure operational standards are met.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in waste management or environmental services, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and community members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
Proficiency in using management software and reporting tools for data analysis.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £21.49
