Summary
Transport Administrator
1 month with possible extension
Prudhoe
£12.50 per hour
Our client is looking for a transport administrator to join the team asap on a temporary basis for a minimoon of 1 month with the potential to be extended.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the transport team.
- Ensure all driver documentation, vehicle records, and compliance paperwork are maintained accurately.
- Process transport-related data, including delivery notes, tachograph downloads, and fuel records.
- Assist with route planning, scheduling, and allocation of drivers.
- Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to resolve queries in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on vehicle defects, accidents, and breakdowns, escalating as necessary.
- Update internal systems with transport data (e.g., delivery performance, compliance checks).
- Support audits and ensure transport operations remain compliant with company and legal standards.
- Assist in producing KPI reports for management review.
- Undertake general office duties such as filing, responding to emails, and answering calls.
