The Company
Our client has grown to be one of the UK’s largest suppliers of building and construction steel reinforcement solutions for the forming, fixing, connecting and reinforcing of concrete into the Construction & Civil’s industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to succession plan for their operations in the Newcastle area.
The Role
This is fundamental role in the company’s business strategy and requires individuals of an ambitious nature; the role will allow applicants to develop Planning for the two main departments which include Production & Transportation (Logistics). This role will be an evolving role that will give applicants real prospects to progress into further Management roles. Operating across the whole Production/Manufacturing & Transport operation but with key focus on Production Planning and Scheduling, Transport Planning.
The Candidate
Suitable applicants must be able to show a good understand of Production and Manufacture, as a Production Planner OR Transport Planner. Applicants will have a working knowledge of Production Planning / Production Control AND OR Transport Planning, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Suitable applicants will come from within Engineered Product Manufacturing, Building Product Manufacture, Production Engineering, Heavy Manufacture, Metals, Heavy-side Product Manufacture, Production Management or a Technical/Engineering Business HOWEVER applicants from out with these sectors will also be considered who can bring experience, these people must have and show interest in the production/manufacturing sector and be looking for a challenging new role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate high levels of drive.
