We are based in Wylam, Northumberland NE41, which is a 20-minute drive from Newcastle and has good rail/bus links We’re looking for a caring, compassionate and committed Personal Assistant (female). It's an amazing opportunity to join our small and friendly team for a 24-year-old lady with a severe learning disability and additional health needs. We work flexibly and can accommodate shifts to suit a good work-life balance.
About Me: I am a delightful young lady who likes to go swimming, going on trips, out for walks, loves music, dancing, looking at books and jigsaws. Every Saturday I go to a gym for people with additional needs and a club for young adults with additional needs called WeCan. I attend college Mondays, Thursdays and Friday and an activity Centre with care staff on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I have 24/7 care with dedicated day shift staff who assist me to have the best time with my different clubs and activities, and overnight care staff who enable me to have the best night’s sleep by providing proactive support at all times.
