Other requirements Be an integral part of a health promotion programme to improve uptake of the NHS BCSP within Cheshire and Merseyside. To support needs assessment and equity analyses, monitor uptake and identify areas or groups with low uptake. To support targeted health promotion and social marketing initiatives, including social marketing campaigns, to improve the uptake of the NHS BSCP amongst groups with low uptake. To work collaboratively with the Programme Hub to provide health promotion support to the roll out of the extended programme across the participating PCNs. To maintain professional competence and support that of other staff within the CFAKC Service. To support the Health Promotion Specialist in the development of performance management systems for the CFAKC and in particular to monitor the equity of uptake of screening. To support the evaluation of health promotion initiatives, identify areas for improvement and initiate change, where necessary, through analysis and interpretation of health information. Social marketing and awareness raising To support the development of health promotion materials using a social marketing approach, and support health promotion activities, appropriate to the needs of designated sub groups within the target audience for the BCSP, to maximise uptake of the service. To work pro-actively with the media and any marketing agency appointed to develop and run targeted media campaigns. To support the training and development needs of primary care staff, other NHS staff, voluntary and community groups for the NHS BCSP and to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of education to meet identified need. Communication To liaise with the local NHS BCSP, the regional programme Hub, NHS BCSP national office, NHSE, Public Health professionals, communications leads, primary care colleagues, other healthcare professionals and members of the public. To provide and receive complex information about the NHS CFAKC Service. To be able to persuade, motivate and negotiate with partner agencies and the target group to ensure the success of the NHS CFAKC Service. To communicate complex or contentious information sensitively. To maintain effective communication links with health professionals, patients and relatives across the health economy. Clinical Governance / Quality To contribute to research, audit and benchmarking in order to improve effectiveness of the NHS BCSP. To support the dissemination of research and audit findings through presentation to professional groups and publication. Adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to own area of work. To promote patient and public involvement activities in the NHS BCSP, leading to service improvement. To promote peoples equality, diversity and rights with regard to the NHS BCSP to ensure that any potential health inequalities resulting from the CFAKC are avoided.
