As the SWP Lead for DNO, you will be responsible for the accurate planning of future resource requirements, understanding DNO’s current workforce capability, forecasting future needs and ensuring we have a mid to long term strategy plan to bridge any gaps.
A SWP Lead for DNO would be expected to:
Represent the DNO SWP team in key working groups and stakeholder meetings including the Defence Workforce Working Group (DWWG), DNE Early Careers Working Group, and the SWP Community of Practice
Support the DNO SWP team with the development of the DNO strategic workforce plan including any relevant business engagement where applicable (e.g. workshops)
Collaborating with colleagues in Defence Nuclear Establishment (DNE) for a co-ordinated approach to workforce planning
Work with key stakeholders in the Learning & Development and DNE People and Skills teams to support the development of a DNO early careers strategy
Engage with intervention leads to monitor and track their success
Support the development of the SWP function within DNO, including contributing to any policy or guidance developed by the SWP team
Lead design, development and implementation of succession planning in DNO
