Do you thrive in creative environments?

Are you passionate about supporting artistic and technological learning?

If so, join Queen Katharine Academy as our new Creative Arts Technician and help shape the future of creative education.

Your role:

As a Creative Arts Technician, you’ll play a vital part in supporting both the Creative Arts and Technologies departments. From preparing materials and maintaining equipment to assisting in practical lessons and showcasing student work, your role will be hands-on, varied, and deeply rewarding. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons run smoothly and students have the resources they need to thrive.

We’re looking for someone with a practical background, strong organisational skills, and a passion for creativity. You’ll need to be confident working independently and as part of a team, with good ICT skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential—what matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to supporting learning.

About us:

At Queen Katharine Academy, we believe that “education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” As part of the Thomas Deacon Education Trust, we are proud to uphold the values of Ambition, Responsibility, and Respect—values inspired by our namesake, Katharine of Aragon, who led with kindness, fairness, and strength.

You’ll be joining a vibrant, inclusive school community where every member is encouraged to take opportunities, support others with kindness, and strive for excellence. Our staff and student pledges create a culture of safety, support, and ambition, where everyone is empowered to thrive.

This is more than just a job, it’s a chance to be part of a school that is committed to broadening horizons, enriching experiences, and making a real difference in the lives of young people.
