Job description:
Location: Ashley Centre, Epsom.
*Minimum of 40 hours per week *
*SIA License DS / SG is essential CCTV is desirable
Mercury Security and Facilities Management currently have a vacancy for a suitable experienced Security Operative to join their established team within the Ashley Centre on a full time basis. This is a permanent position.
The Centre has a large mix of tenants, and food outlets and prides its self on providing an extremely high level of customer service to its visitors, therefore it is essential that suitable candidates can demonstrate the following capabilities in the execution of what is an extremely responsible role within the Ashley Centre.
Proven experience in a similar role is desirable with a focus on customer service.
Have outstanding organizational skills remain calm and rational under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, having the ability to communicate at all levels with staff, public, tenants and Centre Management.
Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.
Become fully competent with all procedures and protocols, to ensure a safe environment for customers, tenants and staff of The Ashley Centre.
Show decision making and problem solving skills.
Provide detailed written reports on all aspects of the operation from Incident reports, Accident reports, Defect reports, etc.
Be reliable and flexible in your approach to the role have the ability to integrate into an established team.
Connect with colleagues and management to encourage delivery of a superior customer service ensuring repeat visitation of customers.
To carry out all tasks as directed by the security manager and centre management.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and all other relevant legislation.
To be aware of all Health and Safety requirements of the Centre, react to all emergency situations.
Shift pattern to vary from Sunday to Saturday (pro rata). Further details to be discussed at interview stage.
