TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery based in Colchester. This well-regarded setting is dedicated to providing high-quality care and learning opportunities, supporting around 50 children. The nursery ensures children feel safe, secure, and valued, while encouraging independence, developing communication and language skills, and fostering a love for books and reading.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join the team on a long-term basis, with the opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate. You will primarily work within the baby room, but flexibility to support across the nursery when required is essential.

The ideal practitioner will bring previous early years experience, a strong understanding of child development, and a nurturing approach that supports children to grow, learn, and thrive.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)

  
  

• Previous experience in an early years setting

  
  

• A caring, positive, and proactive approach to supporting young children
