Crynodeb
We require a committed personal assistant/carer (PA) to join an amazing team supporting a young gentleman in his own home based in Runcorn to fill a part-time position.
AND require Bank Staff to cover sickness/holidays as and when required.
The gentleman has a learning disability, autism, cerebral palsy, Tourette's and is registered as severely sight impaired.
He requires assistance with all aspects of daily living including personal care, cooking, cleaning, moving and handling, socialising, appointments etc.
Hours of work will be part time (Hours/Times to be agreed by mutual agreement).
More hours will be available to cover holidays/illness as needed.
You must have patience and tolerance and the ability to cope in difficult situations, working as part of a team.
Non smoker
Must have good Punctuality and timekeeping
Drivers license and own transport would be beneficial as we have a limited bus service in the area.
Skills required in this role include being:
Trustworthy, reliable, honest, flexible, caring, kind, consistent, dedicated, able to work part of a team, reliable and punctual and have a great sense of humour.
Experience is not essential as full training will be given but it would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check paid for by the employer.
