Guildford Area
A specialist workshop renowned for high-quality work on iconic vehicles is seeking an experienced Classic Car Technician to join its growing team.
With a competitive basic salary up to £45,000, Monday to Friday hours, free onsite parking, and in-house training, it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about classic motoring.
This role offers the chance to work on beautifully engineered classics from the 1950s through to the 1970s in a well-equipped environment, alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and restorations on classic vehicles from the 1950s–1970s
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults with care and precision
Preparing vehicles for road and show use to the highest standard
Ensuring all work is completed to exacting quality and safety standards
Supporting the wider team on specialist restoration projects
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a vehicle technician, ideally with exposure to classic car restoration
Strong knowledge of vehicle electrics and mechanics, with particular advantage for Jaguar experience
Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Genuine passion for classic and performance cars
Benefits:
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (40 hours)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
Benefits: Free onsite parking, in-house training, good working environment with a supportive team
Overtime: Occasionally available, paid at flat rate
