They are looking for someone experienced, warm, and reliable to take on all typical childcare duties. The family is open to a part-time nanny (20 hours per week) or can offer up to 35 hours for a nanny housekeeper who is happy to combine childcare with household duties. A Portuguese speaker is essential for this role, and a driver would be a bonus. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 20 to 35 hours per week PT: 20 hours (AFS/N - no housekeeping) FT: 35 hours (NHK)
Duties include:
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading age-appropriate books
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the children’s needs
The family seeks someone to hire as soon as possible.
