Early Years Practitioner role - Immediate start - Islington

If you're a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner looking to start a new position where you'll be valued and recognised for your hard work, then this nursery in Islington has the perfect role for you!

This vibrant and inclusive nursery is led by a supportive management team who offer plenty of opportunities for career development, and as an Early Years Practitioner you will join a team of friendly and likeminded staff who are dedicated to Early Years Education.

Located in Islington, this nursery is easily accessed as there are great transport links. This is a lovely nursery that strives to create a positive and stimulating atmosphere for every child to thrive in. There are specialist rooms and a private outdoor space for extended learning, as well as regular days out to local parks!

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be:

• Assisting children with early reading and early maths skills development
• Level 2/3 qualified in Early Years or Childcare
• Providing and forming an encouraging and supportive learning environment where every child can grow at their own pace
• Experienced in working with young children in Early Years, within a nursery or childcare setting
• Following the EYFS curriculum to deliver educational activities for children's learning and development
• Encouraging development through play and exploration, and activities that are stimulating for children's imagination and creativity
• Using the EYFS framework to assist and support children with early reading and literacy and early maths skills development
• Carrying out observations and planning activities based on your key children's development stages
• A strong communicator - collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians
