What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at Astor Secondary School. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and ready for the next school day
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to health and safety and safeguarding standards
Please note, you will be working outside of regular school hours, between 4:00 and 7:30am, Monday to Friday.
