Your Role
As a Trainee Building Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards. You will assist in reviewing plans, issuing permits, and providing guidance to contractors and property owners. Your role will also involve preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections. You will work under the supervision of experienced inspectors while working towards your Inspection class qualification, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the safety and quality of buildings in Stockport.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for construction and building safety. Strong communication abilities, independence in task management, and a proactive approach to professional development are essential. Candidates should exhibit motivation, responsibility, and dedication to upholding exemplary standards of work. Prior experience within the building construction sector is required. Applicants must hold a Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline and show commitment to achieving professional credentials in accordance with BSR registration requirements.
