Are you passionate about property, energy management, and making a difference in your community? Falkirk Council is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Standards Officer to support our Property Compliance Team and help .

In this dynamic role, you’ll provide technical and administrative support across a range of property and asset management functions. From managing building compliance and facilities management data and supporting contract payments to coordinating maintenance schedules, your work will help ensure our buildings are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Property Standards Team Leader with technical and administrative tasks.
  • Manage and analyze data from property and facilities management systems.
  • Coordinate utility contracts and statutory maintenance schedules.
  • Administer financial transactions and support contract payment mechanisms.
  • Assist with document management and basic technical works.

What We’re Looking For

  • HND in Business Management, Technical field, or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A flexible, mobile approach to working across Council properties.

Desirable Skills

  • Project management experience.
  • Gaelic language skills.
  • Skills in data visualisation and/or experience using PowerBi
