Could you be our next Marketing Officer?

We’re seeking a talented, proactive individual to join our Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you’ll plan and deliver strategic marketing campaigns that support Council services and priorities, including our digital growth. You will help drive engagement, increase participation, and promote income-generating activities across a wide variety of audiences, with a focus predominantly within our Sport and Leisure services.

What we are looking for…

We are looking for a confident, organised, and creative marketing professional who can hit the ground running.

The role will be central to driving growth and income generation for our Sport & Leisure services, while also supporting marketing activity across a wide range of Falkirk Council services. From education and housing to culture and tourism, our team promotes an extensive portfolio of services that benefit the local community.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven experience in planning and delivering marketing strategies, content creation, digital engagement and sales. A background in Sport and Leisure is desirable.
  • Be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with colleagues and peers.
  • Bring creativity and fresh ideas to help promote participation in sport and leisure, to drive growth and hit targets.
  • Possess excellent organisation and time management skills, being able to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Key skills and attributes:

  • - A degree in marketing or significant experience in a similar role
  • - Experience in delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • - Strong understanding of digital trends and data analysis
  • - Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • - Great attention to detail and design sensibility
  • - A collaborative, customer-focused approach
