Are you passionate about keeping outdoor spaces clean, safe, and welcoming?
Marlborough Primary School is looking for a dedicated and reliable Grounds Person / Gardener to help maintain our school grounds and external buildings. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in creating a pleasant environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• General grounds maintenance including litter removal, weeding, and cleaning of paved areas, gullies, and gutters.
• Gardening tasks such as strimming, hedge trimming, planting, and seasonal upkeep.
• Minor repairs and maintenance related to the school grounds.
• Working closely with the Estates Manager to ensure the site is safe and well-maintained.

• Experience using gardening tools and equipment.
• General gardening and maintenance skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Awareness of school policies including Health & Safety, Manual Handling, and Child Protection.
