Located on the outskirts of the rural market town of Newent; about 10 miles north-west of Gloucester city, and with magnificent 38-acre site and impressive sports facilities, Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre are seeking to appoint a Home School Liaison Officer with a proven track record.  Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre is an 11-18 comprehensive academy with c 1150 students currently on roll.    ​ ​​The successful candidate will support the school by sharing and modelling the school’s vision and values in everyday work and practice.   ​​ ​​​Those applicants with experience would be involved in developing themselves and supporting in specific areas ensuring the setting of high expectations, helping us secure further school wide improvements. Those new to the profession can expect a fully structured support programme for the duration of their induction period.  They can expect to benefit from a mentor who is experienced as well as excellent internal and external CPD provision.    ​​Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre has a strong team spirit and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment, which enables the holistic development of all students.
