Location: Colwick, NG4 - Nearby to Nottingham, Sherwood, Arnold, West Bridgford
Day Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025. Immediate for the right candidate.
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures are working with an inclusive and welcoming primary school looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant. They are ready to offer a long-term opportunity to someone who truly understands how to support young learners in their earliest school years.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and has the hands-on experience to hit the ground running from day one.
Responsibilities:
- You will support the class teacher in delivering a play-based, engaging Early Years curriculum
- You will work 1:1 or in small groups to support learning, language, and social development
- You will help with phonics, early number skills, and classroom routines
- You will create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
Requirements:
- Experience working in a Nursery or Reception class setting
- A qualification relevant to Early Years Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning
- A confident, patient, and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine love for early childhood development
